Update

How to Leverage your School's Stimulus Funding

The Obama Administration is pumping billions into America's schools. We want to help your school make the most of those dollars with a new program to extend use of Apangea Math and Apangea Writing for an extra year - free.

We want to help your school make the most of those dollars.

Behind the Scenes

Apangea's Teachers - Frontline to Innovation & Learning

Apangea Learning is the only online educational service that offers direct and immediate one-on-one tutoring with U.S.-certified teachers. They are key to our groundbreaking approach to helping student when and where they need it. For the teachers, working with students online brings insight.

Profile

NYC's Math Instruction for English Learners

With immigration reshaping American life, educators are challenged with developing practical instructional strategies for students who may have a poor command of English. In New York City, there's a school that is using the power of our differentiated (and multi-lingual) learning solution to make it work for teaching math.

Apangea's March Madness -- And the Winners are...

College hoops weren't the only heart-pounding competition to generate thrills across the country last month. It was also the time for our own annual March Madness competition in which thousands of classrooms vied for top honors and prizes. Points are awarded to individual classrooms based on quality of student work, problems successfully solved and quiz scores. Congratulations to this year's winners: Ms. Sue Peck's class at Liberty Elementary School in Boise, ID. And our thanks to all participating teachers and schools... and hey, there's always next year!

Impact

Kids in Idaho Are in Love, Says Principal

We recently expanded into Idaho, and the initial reaction from all concerned has been positive. In fact, one local newspaper deadpans that the new online math program just "adds up." A school official, meanwhile, says that the "principals tell me our kids are loving it. Our teachers are loving it." And we love that!
