Meet the Presenter
Todd Lamb
Todd Lamb is President of Lamb Government Solutions in Annapolis, Maryland. Todd has been lobbying in Maryland, the federal government and throughout state houses across the country since 2003. In addition to working on behalf of individual companies, he has built and managed coalitions and grassroots campaigns at the state, local and national level.
Previously, Todd served as Senior Advisor to then-Deputy Secretary Eugene W. Hickok at the U.S. Department of Education, assisting in the implementation of the federal No Child Left Behind law with outreach to state departments of education across the country. He directed media relations and monitored policy and issues relating to charter schools and educational research. In 2002, he managed the Department of Education's National Charter School Conference, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Todd served the Department's White House liaison for history and special civics initiatives such as the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation; The Afghanistan Children's Donation Fund; Friendship Through Education; The US/UK forum on Civics; and the White House Forum on History and Civics.
In 2002, Lamb assisted Maryland Governor-Elect Robert Ehrlich's education transition team, helping to provide guidance on charter school laws around the nation. Maryland became the 40th state to pass a charter school law in 2003.
